i've never studied music academically in my life, i've taught myself how to sing and play the guitar/piano, i knew exactly what he was saying, the stuff in this video was actually remedial for me. If this is what you consider advanced then i doubt you've been studying music all your life. This is the kind of stuff they teach music students in middle school….

NOT KNOCKING WHAT YOU LEARN IN SCHOOL AND I TIP MY HAT OFF TO YOU FOR TEACHING YOURSELF HOW TO PLAY THE GUITAR AND THE PIANO, BUT WHAT DOES THIS VIDEO HAVE TO DO WITH HOW TO WRITE A SONG. I HAVE GONE TO PLENTY OF (SONGWRITING WORKSHOPS) IN NASHVILLE TN. AND IT WAS ALL ABOUT CREATING. IF I HAVE SAID IT ONCE, I HAVE SAID IT A THOUSAND TIMES. (YOU REALLY CAN'T TEACH A PERSON HOW TO WRITE A SONG. EITHER YOU GOT IT OR YOU DON'T. THE NAME OF THIS VIDEO SHOULD BE (CHORD STRUCTURE). PEACE MY BROTHER.
