Yup, i’m actually working with logic right now and it’s amazing, the only
thing i use from ableton right now it’s the warping tool… there’s no
better stretch tool on any software 🙂

depends what u want… Record audio, almost every software it’s ok
(Audition, Audacity , etc..) If you want a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation)
There’s a lot of good softwares Logic Pro (Mac) Ableton Live (Mac & Pc)
Reason (Mac & Pc) Pro Tools (Mac & Pc) Digital Performer (Mac & Pc) Cubase

Exactly. Great answer. I currently prefer Ableton for electronic/grid work,
and Cubase or Pro Tools for conventional recording. But I’ve got experience
with almost every one of the programs mentioned (except for DP & FLS) and
they all have individual strengths.
